About the role

You'll join the founding team and help build and maintain Contably — Bolivia's first cloud-native accounting and SFE-compliant invoicing platform. You'll work directly with the founders, ship real features to real customers, and have significant ownership of the product from day one.

This is a contractor engagement paid hourly or by project. Bolivia-based candidates are strongly preferred — you'll understand the market, the SFE compliance context, and the customers we serve.

What you'll do

Build and maintain frontend features with React 18 + TypeScript + Vite
Write backend logic via Supabase Edge Functions (Deno runtime)
Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas for accounting and invoicing data
Integrate with Bolivia's SFE (SIAT/SOAP API) for electronic invoicing
Work closely with the founders on product decisions and UX
Ship fast, iterate based on real customer feedback

Requirements

2+ years of full-stack experience
Strong React + TypeScript skills
Comfortable with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
Spanish required — English intermediate or above a plus
Supabase or Deno experience desirable, not required
Based in Bolivia or strong familiarity with the Bolivian market preferred

Compensation

Bs. 90–130 per hour depending on experience and scope. Engagement starts as project-based or hourly; path to longer-term involvement as the product scales.
